Meet the HR Guy.
I am Dylan Adams, the driving force behind The HR Guy. My natural approach is to be fair, honest and meet problems head-on with the right solutions.
I gained broad experience and a strong capability in HR and Employment Relations through working in Operational, General Management and subsequently senior HR roles within companies such as Cadbury’s, Silver Fern Farms and Fonterra.
These experiences provided me with endless opportunities to deal with diverse employment related activity from significant regional labour shortages, creating individual and team development frameworks, employing senior executives and problematic workplace relationships through to managing significant company changes such as restructures.
I enjoy working for clients on-site specifically within the Nelson Tasman and Otago regions, as well as across the rest of New Zealand and Australia where necessary. I believe that working on client’s sites is a great way to gain knowledge of the company culture, get to know the team and understand the business dynamics. This helps me provide effective advice and solutions.
